About

"Most of the world is covered by water. A fisherman's job is simple: Pick out the best parts." – Charles Waterman

I started fishing the waters off Long Island Sound when I was around 10 years old, walking and surf-casting on the beaches of Shoreham. As I grew older, I explored both the North and South shores and surf fishing truly captivated me. During my mid-teens, I did spend some time boat fishing in Port Jeff Harbor, Old Field, and Crane's Neck.

It wasn't until 1999 that I rekindled my passion for boating and had to start learning from scratch. It all began with a 17-foot Mako, and over time, I ended up owning four different boats. My current boat is a 27-foot Edgewater named "Kaptivator". For the past 20 years, I have dedicated my time to fishing the waters I grew up on. I have also spent extended periods in Montauk, where I honed my fishing skills.
